The focus of this program is politics and music.
Join host Mark Skogman and co- host T. K. Weeks for another interesting and insightful Spectrum 360 exploring the current news, recent events and coming events from a Progresssive perspective.
Starting on Friday of this week (Fri. 07 Oct. to Mon. 10 Oct., ’16) is the School of the Americans Watch Vigil, which for the first time in the history of the organization and the Vigil is not in Columbus, GA at the gates of the Fort Benning Army Base but rather has moved to the U. S.- Mexico border at Nogales, AZ for a first- ever “on- the- border” and “cross border” Vigil. We will explore this huge change.
Next, we hope to interview Sonjay and Stacey Patel, political activists, Democrats and former Bernie Sanders campaign workers about their recent trip to the Standing Rock Indian Reservation and the Sacred Stone camp, the site of the No Dakota Access Pipeline demonstration.
Also, the state of the general election campaigns will be examined including the recent Jill Stein campaign event in Tampa and previews of the upcoming debates will be discussed and some humorous takes on the elections in general. Join us!
On next weeks Spectrum 360…..
a report from the School Of The Americas Watch Vigil on just what happened at this year’s vigil, the results of the next debates and more!
